VERTICAL DREAMSCAPE is a Pole dance collective created by Donna Carnow & Gina Alm. Donna Carnow is a US National Pole Art Champion & aerial pole artist. Gina Alm is a visual artist and pole dance + aerial pole performer. The pair have worked together since 2021 and debuted their first production in 2023.

VERTICAL DREAMSCAPE is a container for long-form aerial pole art. The durational nature of their work yields a powerful, visceral, and transcendent visual experience that has been developed Through countless hours of collaboration. The company produces high-octane work that is theatrical, athletic, raw, sensual, and gritty. Donna and Gina aim to capture the virtuosity and chaos of their lives as working pole dance artists from new york city.

Vertical Dreamscape have toured their work across multiple continents, spanning circus festivals, black box theaters, and variety/nightlife spaces. You can see Vertical dreamscape perform their award winning production, dusk/night/dawn, this summer at Edinburgh Fringe Festival August 5-30 2026.
